|
Choosing the correct oil to finish your worktops can be a difficult decision due to the wide range of products available and the conflicting information available on the internet. It is important that any finish on your worktop is not only asthetically pleasing but also durable and practical for everyday use. We recommend using Finishing Oil manufactured by Liberon for wooden worktops. Finishing Oil will bring out the natural colour and character of the worktops whether it is manufactured from Ash, Beech, Oak, Iroko or Walnut. Finishing Oil is manufactured from a blend of oils which can used to achieve a matt, satin or gloss finish depending upon the number of coats applied. It is important that a worktop from Pure Tree is given a minimum of three coats of oil on all faces including the bottom of the worktop before installation and a final coat after installation. Finishing Oil can be purchased from our online shop click here to be re-directed Once a wooden worktop has been installed and finished with Finishing Oil additonal maintenance can be achieved using Woodentops Worktop Spray Oil which allows a worktop to be revitalised without any of the traditional inconvience of oiling.
